THE 5TH GPP2ADRION PARTNER MEETING IN LJUBLJANA
Sep 14, 2026
On 14 September 2026, Circular Change hosted the 5th GPP2ADRION Partner Meeting in Ljubljana, bringing project partners together to review progress and shape the next phase of cooperation. At the heart of the discussions were the Transnational GPP Network - connecting practitioners, expertise and stakeholders across countries - and the upcoming GPP Contact Points, which will help bring green public procurement knowledge, support and practical experience closer to those putting it into practice in the region. Connecting people, expertise and networks for greener public procurement
From a project framework to meaningful connections
For Circular Change, the host of the event, this reflects an important part of our role in GPP2ADRION: connecting people, expertise and existing networks.
We contribute to the Transnational GPP Network by identifying and engaging relevant stakeholders from Slovenia, the wider region and our international networks, bringing together practitioners, public authorities, universities and circular economy experts who can contribute practical experience and open opportunities for further cooperation.
The meeting was hosted at the premises of CEF - Center of Excellence in Finance, with Lucija Marovt leading the meeting on behalf of Circular Change. We were particularly pleased to be joined by Zala Strojin Božič, GPP Ambassador, and David Klepej from CEF as a stakeholder, bringing additional perspectives on the potential of the Transnational GPP Network, possible synergies and concrete activities ahead.
Their participation brought additional perspectives to the discussion on the potential of the Transnational GPP Network, possible synergies and concrete activities ahead. The exchange also opened perspectives on connecting GPP2ADRION with the Western Balkans and wider regional networks.
For us, this is what makes a network valuable: not simply adding contacts to a list, but connecting the right people, sharing knowledge and creating opportunities for concrete cooperation.
The journey continues
The Ljubljana meeting is one step in a longer process. Through Circular Change’s international missions, events, projects and partnerships, we continue to bring GPP2ADRION into new conversations - while bringing new knowledge, contacts and opportunities back into the project.
The next milestone is the Transnational GPP Network meeting on 21 September, followed by further development of the GPP Contact Points and activities aimed at supporting practitioners in putting green public procurement into practice.
A special thank you to Enja Škerget and the team of the CEF - Center of Excellence in Finance for the organisational support.
The work - and the journey - continues: connecting dots across projects, networks and borders.
