Circular Diplomacy in Action: Circular Change at WCEF 2025
At the World Circular Economy Forum 2025 in São Paulo, Ladeja Godina Košir, founder of Circular Change and co-chair of the European Circular Economy Stakeholder Platform (ECESP) for the past eight years, joined the EU delegation.
She moderated one of the workshops shaping the priorities for the EU Circular Economy Resource Centre, led by Sitra, actively contributing to its international outreach and cooperation agenda.
Ladeja also took part in two panels hosted by Exchange4Change Brazil, strengthening a collaboration that began nearly a decade ago. This work builds on the momentum from the Brazil Circular Hotspot launch in November 2024, where Circular Change was also present.
At the Nordic Night, she welcomed the signing of a formal cooperation agreement between Nordic countries and Exchange4Change Brazil—a milestone in circular diplomacy and a testament to long-standing collaboration with the Nordic Circular Hotspot.
As part of this mission, Circular Change also deepened connections with the Slovenian-Brazilian platform SLOBRAZ, further strengthening cultural and professional bridges between the regions.
Through these engagements, Circular Change continues to bridge the Global North and South, fostering trust, dialogue and strategic partnerships for a just and inclusive circular transition.
