Ladeja is a Jury member at The Women’s Academy for Rural Innovation

Ladeja Godina Košir became a Jury member at The Women’s Academy for Rural Innovation, one of the European Leadership Academy’s programmes.

The Women’s Academy for Rural Innovation in October 2022 is the first edition of its kind. It is a new programme within the European Leadership Academy, which also runs the Schools for Female Leadership in the Digital Age as part of Huawei’s broader educational initiative, Seeds for the Future, designed to advance digital inclusion and female empowerment. The programme aims to close both the gender gap and the urban-rural gap, and create a world where women are empowered to harness the possibilities offered by technology to support their local communities and lead them into a sustainable, digital future.

The 15 participants will be selected by a distinguished Jury composed of business entrepreneurs, decision-makers, experts in rural economics and equality defenders.

They look for well-rounded candidates with a demonstrable track record in driving forward new ideas and seizing opportunities in their rural communities. The Jury is interested in applicants’ future plans and ambitions, as well as in their curiosity to better understand the potential of technology in driving equality and opportunity in their area.

15 selected women will receive a full scholarship and embark on a journey of discovery. The programme will offer a combination of panels, workshops, roundtables, masterclasses, and teamwork sessions. With a line-up of top-level experts and mentors, participants will learn new skills and approaches and have the chance to discuss how new tools could be implemented in their own rural environment.

Congratulations to Ladeja and we are looking forward to finding out who will be this year’s participants!
