Circular Change will take part in the 11th EUSAIR Forum, taking place from 18–20 May 2026 in Skopje, North Macedonia, under the overarching theme “Accelerating EUSAIR: From Commitment to Impact.” The Forum brings together policymakers, European institutions, regional initiatives, projects and practitioners working to strengthen cooperation, resilience and sustainable development across the Adriatic–Ionian region.

As part of the official programme, Circular Change is involved in the thematic session Green Public Procurement Driving Circular Economy in the Adriatic–Ionian Region, organised within the framework of the GPP2ADRION project.

A special highlight of the session will be the high-level roundtable “From policy to practice: enabling circular economy across the Adriatic–Ionian region”, moderated by Ladeja Godina Košir.The panel will address future pathways for strengthening cooperation, implementation capacities and transnational approaches to circular economy across the macro-region.

The discussions in Skopje also resonate strongly with one of the reflections highlighted in Circular Change’s 10-year publication: the growing need for transition brokers — actors capable of connecting policy, business, finance, public institutions and communities into functioning circular ecosystems. In many ways, macro-regional cooperation platforms such as EUSAIR increasingly depend on exactly this kind of connective capacity to move from commitment to real impact.
