Culture and Sustainability Symposium in Kristiansand


 

The Culture and Sustainability Symposium in Kristiansand, COPAGDER: ACT24, presents an opportunity to engage in discussions surrounding cultural contributions to sustainability standards and practices. Set to take place on March 14th-15th, 2024, this event will feature lectures, panel discussions, workshops, and debates aimed at fostering sustainable action within Europe and local communities.

With a diverse audience including cultural workers, artists, sustainability professionals, experts, municipalities, and various stakeholders in the arts and culture sector, COPAGDER: ACT24 promises to be an enriching experience for all participants.

Distinguished speakers such as Hege Westskog from Cicero, Linnea Swensson, Cathrine Barth, Maren Lundhaug, Siri Haugan Holden, and our executive director Ladeja Godina Košir are confirmed to share their insights and expertise during the symposium.

Hosted at the Clarion Ernst Hotel in Kristiansand, this event is a collaborative effort supported by Agder County Municipality and organized by a consortium of institutions including Arena for Sustainability, Music Office SØRF, Agder Art Center, South Norwegian Jazz Center, South Norwegian Film Center, Performing Arts South, Norwegian Authors' Center Southern Norway, Bølgen Sustainability Center, the Main Organization Virke, NOKU (Norwegian Cultural Forum), NKA (Norwegian Cultural Arrangers), Kristiansand Municipality, and Ravnedalen Live.

Attendees, including NOKU members, are encouraged to participate and contribute to the dialogue aimed at fostering sustainable practices within the cultural sphere.
