Circular Change for Circular Chance

It is becoming obvious; we have to adjust our lives to the pandemic of COVID-19. EMBRACING the new reality is – according to me – much more productive than fighting against it. 

After the initial shock, the most revealing moment for me was realizing that I posses the most precious capital – SOCIAL CAPITAL. As a passionate connector, I feel connected to the GLOBAL COMMUNITY OF CIRCULAR CHANGE-MAKERS, and being grateful for all the precious moments of our co-creation and collaboration.

Many activities that contributed to significant change and made positive impact on the economy, society and environment happened BEHIND THE SCENES, on the ground, not under the spotlights of media, nor on the stage.

Now, we cannot meet in person – so MEET THE CIRCULAR FACES on our platform and find out what COMPETENCES, EXPERIENCES, and KNOWLEDGE we can share.

The CHANGE we are experiencing on all levels can become our CHANCE to extend our role - by connecting the dots to COLLECTIVELY ACHIEVE MORE than single individuals can achieve on their own.

For our “global circular community” the time has come to USE what we have learned, developed and implemented in the “pre-Corona times”: SDG’s, European Green Deal, European Plastics Pact, and the Circular Economy Action Plan – the “SCENARIOS” for the world we would like to live in have been written!

What is more, European and global leaders have committed themselves to BRING THOSE AGREEMENTS INTO REALITY. Greta Thunberg inspired an international movement to fight climate change. “THERE IS NO PLANET B” became our mantra. Nevertheless, until the Corona crisis, no serious global crisis management actually took place. 

Now, we want to contribute to the massive WAKE UP CALL. We are the PEOPLE we have been waiting for.
