Circular Cities at the Arendalsuka 2019

Arendalsuka is a week long conference between policy and business actors in Norway - this year taking place from 12 - 17 August 2019.

It started as a political platform but has now evolved into an arena where business and industry meet to network and showcase their work. In the recent years sustainability has gained a lot of attention and this year there are a high number of events discussing circular economy for different industries and sectors.

During the week there are 1147 events registered to date. More will be added in the coming weeks. It can be said that Arendalsuka is the epicenter of norwegian politics and industry development for the following year. All events are free and open to everyone and aim for inclusion for all.

Founder and Executive Director of Circular Change, Ladeja Godina Košir, has been asked to join our friends from Circular Norway, who are hosting the event Circular Cities, as part of the Arendalsuka conference. Among other experts, Ladeja will be addressing topics such as: Why do cities go Circular?, Why is circularity the engine for sustainable cities and societies?, How to make it happen - EU leads the way.
