Shaping the Circular Economy Act – from Policy to Practice
European Circular Economy Stakeholder Platform (ECESP), chaired by Ladeja Godina Košir, will convene its Annual Conference on 22–23 April 2026 in Brussels, bringing together policymakers, businesses, regions and civil society to shape the next phase of Europe’s circular transition.
This year’s conference will focus on one of the most anticipated policy developments at EU level: the upcoming Circular Economy Act. The event will bridge strategic ambition with practical implementation — in line with the Coordination Group’s renewed mandate.
Day 1 – Policy Outlook
Focused on the Circular Economy Act within the evolving EU policy framework, the first day will address competitiveness, secondary raw materials and implementation challenges across Member States.
Day 2 – From Ambition to Action
The second day will spotlight practical delivery. The ECESP Coordination Group, led by Ladeja Godina Košir, will contribute insights from the five Leadership Groups — showcasing collaborative models and tools that turn EU circular policy into real-world impact.
Sessions will highlight real-world cases, cross-sector collaboration models, financing tools and procurement strategies that turn EU policy into tangible outcomes for regions, cities, SMEs and value chains.
A Platform for Europe’s Circular Community
The ECESP Annual Conference remains one of the key European gatherings for circular economy practitioners. It offers a unique opportunity to:
Engage directly with EU institutions
Connect with cross-sector stakeholders
Explore current and upcoming legislation
Exchange implementation experiences and emerging solutions
As Europe prepares for the Circular Economy Act, this year’s conference will serve as a strategic meeting point — aligning policy ambition with on-the-ground action
