Between 22 and 26 August 2016 United Nations Association of Slovenia is organizing its fourth summer school entitled “Empowering the Environment”.
The conference will address current global issues concerning the environment. It will present environmental dimension of 2030 development agenda, and reflect on pollution and waste management.
Ladeja Godina Košir, Initiator of Circular Change and Co-founder and Connector – Giacomelli media will address the participant wilt the Circular Economy topic: “The future is circular”.
Conference on international environmental policies will be held at the Faculty of Social Sciences in Ljubljana, Slovenia, attended by young activists aged between 18 and 30 years.
Faced with complex multi-sectoral crises, the summer school will focus on deconstruction of environmental problems to the pure essence of theirs.

- Support the international community in reaching ambitious and transformative Sustainable Development Goals.
There is no participation fee. Young volunteers and activists are invited to apply. Deadline for application is 10 August 2016. The number of participants is limited; applicants will be notified about the selection by 12 August 2016.
