Davos, 22 January – The Circulars 2018 – Awards Ceremony

The winners of The Circulars 2018 have been announced at the event in snowy Davos at the opening day of the annual meeting of World Economic Forum. 100 invited guests, circular front-runners from all around the globe, joined the ceremony organised by Global Young Leaders and Accenture Strategy.

Frans Van Houten, CEO Philips, is the winner in the category Circular Leadership, where Ladeja Godina Košir, Circular Change, has been recognised as one of six finalists. This made Ladeja one of a core member of The Circulars community. The winner and Ladeja have discussed the role of Slovenia and Circular Change in the transition towards the circular economy. Slovenian Prime Minister Miro Cerar will participate at the panel dedicated to the circular economy and WEF project PACE – Platform for Accelerating Circular Economy – where Frans Van Houten is going to point out the need for faster implementation of circular practices.

More insights from the event will be published on the web page of The Circulars.
